  • KrayMan Consultants LLP (KrayMan) was established in 2012 with a vision to provide professional and integrated consulting services to businesses operating in India. Founded by a team of professionals with prior experience in Big4 accounting firms and leading industry roles, KrayMan began its journey in Gurugram (National Capital Region of India) and has since grown into a trusted advisory partner for clients across India and abroad.

Mayank Agarwal

Tax & Regulatory

Mayank Agarwal is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary with a distinguished career spanning nearly two decades in Income-tax and Goods & Services Tax (GST) advisory, compliance and litigation support. Known for his domain expertise and practical approach, he has been a trusted advisor to both domestic & multinational clients across a wide range of industries.

His professional journey includes impactful roles at globally respected organizations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Grant Thornton, KPMG and the Honeywell Group where he delivered tax & regulatory solutions aligned with business objectives. In his current role as Partner at KrayMan, Mayank not only advises clients on tax & regulatory matters but also provides strategic leadership, actively contributing to the Firm’s growth, innovation and client success. His ability to translate technical expertise into actionable business insights distinguishes him as a forward-thinking professional committed to excellence.

Manan Agarwal

Tax & Regulatory

Manan qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007. He holds a Diploma in Information Systems Audit (DISA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He is Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N5 qualified from the Japan Foundation. He carries rich experience of 17 years in advising and guiding foreign companies to set-up and do business in India and matters related to Tax, Regulatory and Business Consulting. At KrayMan, he heads the direct tax & regulatory practice and is also involved in defining the vision and mission statement of the Firm. 

Post qualifying as Chartered Accountant, Manan has worked with the Tax & Regulatory services line of Ernst & Young India (‘EY’) for 4 years before taking up the current leadership role in 2012. He has been working extensively in areas of Corporate tax, International tax, Individual tax, Corporate Law and Foreign Exchange Regulations and has served Clients across various industries. He is proficient in transaction advisory and also an avid speaker and writer on India-Entry strategies, Tax & Regulatory & matters in India.

Manan Agarwal

Kratika Agarwal

Accounting & Assurance

Kratika qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010. She has successfully completed the A.2-1.2 Japanese language learning course conducted by the Japan Foundation in association with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). At KrayMan, Kratika is serving International Clients having subsidiary / branch / representative office in India. She is involved in assisting Clients from inception to implementation stage, assisting them with their business registrations, accounting, tax, regulatory and compliances matters. She carries rich experience of 15 years in navigating Clients through the complex regulatory framework of India by providing solutions which are not only compliant with law but also aligned with the industry practices in India. 

Kratika is the engagement partner for many of Firm’s retainer Clients providing day to day advisory and support. She carries valuable experience in the areas of advisory and outsourcing solutions. She is advising extensively on documentation, testing and implementation of Internal Financial Controls (IFCs) for corporates. Prior to joining KrayMan, she was working with BMW Financial Services, India. 

Kratika Agarwal

Nidhi Agarwal

HR & Corporate Communications

Nidhi is an HR professional with 18 years of experience in both operational & strategic HR functions. She holds an MBA in Human Resources and a certified POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace) professional from SHRM, CPD & HRCI. She has worked with reputed MNCs viz. Grant Thornton and Syntel prior to joining KrayMan. At KrayMan she heads Human Resources & Corporate Communications.

At KrayMan, Nidhi supports clients in setting up their HR infrastructure by building a foundation of systems, policies and processes like, drafting HR manuals, designing onboarding, performance management systems, exit management system, employee engagement frameworks and recruitment & selection processes. As a POSH consultant she has been instrumental in designing POSH policy, conduct organization wide training sessions for employees & capacity building trainings for Internal Committee (IC) for various multinational & domestic Clients across industries. She also serves as an External Member on POSH committees for investigation purposes. Additionally, Nidhi has conducted training sessions on business etiquette and HORENSO, a Japanese communication technique.

Rajnish Kumar

Legal & Regulatory

Rajnish is a law graduate from the University of Delhi and Associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Rajnish has 22 years of work experience including that as General Counsel & Company Secretary in multinational as well as Indian companies. His expertise lies in navigating clients across the legal complexities of India including labour and employment laws and legal advisory to the board of directors.

Prior to joining KrayMan, Rajnish held key positions in large corporates such as Meiden T&D India (wholly owned subsidiary of Meidensha Corporation, Japan), Bertelsmann-Arvato (Germany), RR Legal Partners, Federal-Mogul (USA), Manpower (USA) and Uniparts India. He has been playing an instrumental role in supporting clients through litigation and dispute resolution matters (including commercial arbitration and civil matters).

Japan Desk

Ms. Hisako Sugawara is Director with the Firm’s Japan Desk. She is responsible for developing and maintaining relationship with Japanese Clients & providing support to Japanese companies in their business expansion in India. She has been living in India for more than 3 years providing valuable support to our Japanese Clients in navigating through the complex business requirements of India. She is adept in managing responsibilities in a dynamic business environment while interacting with Japanese Clients across different sectors.

A graduate from American International Academy, Florida, she has more than 15 years of work experience in the hospitality industry including management of overall departmental profitability & productivity, development of pricing strategies, revenue analysis, marketing, networking & HR. Prior to joining KrayMan she has worked with Obayashi Corporation, Hakone Hospitality & Pacific Hospitality Group Company Limited in Japan. In addition, she has completed Nissho Book-keeping exam conducted by the Japan Chamber of Commerce & Industry which has equipped her with broad understanding of commercial & industrial accounting. She is proficient in English & Japanese language.

Ankur Bairoliya

Assurance, Advisory & Global Outsourcing

Ankur is a Chartered Accountant with 18 years of work experience in the statutory audit domain including over a decade of working with large accounting firms like Deloitte, Grant Thornton and EisnerAmper. Ankur has significant experience in running and upscaling offshore models / offices in India for USA based accounting firms. At KrayMan, Ankur heads service offerings for Assurance, Overseas Markets and Global Outsourcing.

Ankur moved to the USA offshoring models way back in 2010 and since then he has been instrumental in the growth of India businesses for different USA-based accounting and consulting firms. Prior to joining us, Ankur was working with EisnerAmper where he was heading the audit practice for India offices and was responsible for the growth of US integration and quality control.

Renaud Simons
Renaud Simons

EU Desk

Mr. Renaud Simons represents the Firm’s EU Desk. He is responsible for developing relationships with European clients and providing market expansion support to European clients wanting to invest in India. He carries 30 years of experience in banking and finance, growing and developing business contexts, launching and developing new activities, leading acquisition projects, managing crisis situations, and overseeing business integrations.

After studying Economics and Finance from the University of Namur, Belgium in 1988, Renaud worked with Generale Bank, the leading bank of Belgium, for 11 years, including his tenure as Country Risk Manager in Italy. After the takeover of Generale Bank by Fortis Group, he became in 2000 the CEO and Country Manager of Fortis Bank Italy. During this period, he developed from scratch different verticals such as commercial banking, leasing, factoring, merchant banking, private banking, and asset management.

In 2008, he was appointed CEO of Fortis Lease Italy, and a few months later, he was also appointed General Manager of Fortis Lease Romania IFN in Bucharest. From 2010 till 2017, he worked with GE Capital, including his stint as CEO of GE Capital Finance Italy, the factoring business service line. Currently, he is Executive Director of a Swedish digital trade finance platform and also provides consulting on various projects such as mergers and acquisitions, receivable finance, and corporate debt. He is the official advisor for economic and foreign trade matters of the Belgian Embassy in Rome. He is proficient in English, French, Italian, and Dutch.

Government Affairs

Mr. Tanmoy Chakrabarty has about 40 years of experience in dealing with Governments across the globe. He was the Group Government Affairs Officer of Tata Sons Ltd., Tata Group’s parent company having more than 102 subsidiaries & one of the largest & oldest Indian conglomerates in existence for more than 155 years. He has been the Vice President & Global Head – Government Industry Solutions Unit at Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) from 2004 till 2018 where he built the Government Business for TCS worldwide.

He has worked actively in the Government sector & has led many enterprise wide, mission mode & holistic transformational projects in the area of e-Governance in India & other parts of the world. Key projects that he led included the Department of Posts as the Core System Integrator, Prime Minister’s Award winning & marquee Passport Seva Project, United Kingdom Home Office, Income Tax, Central Board of Excise & Customs, GST readiness, Tax Automation across various cities in North America (under the TaxMantra umbrella), & e-Migrate along with several transformational projects in State Governments & tax automation programs in East Africa. His 1st major eGov program at TCS for the Government of India was the Mission Mode Project – MCA21 for the Ministry of Corporate Affairs which won the Prime Minister’s award for Service Delivery Excellence. He has held many memberships in his career of Industry bodies, some of them included being a member of the IT Sub-Committee at Assocham, CII, FICCI & PHDCCI.
